Maze
Maze questions intervals and the high value those spaces bring within hierarchical structures. The pieces of this series explore the concept through materiality, as they are the result of a long process of glaze research designed to give the main role to a material which does not act generally as the prima materia responsible for the sculptural load: here, it carries it almost exclusively. The clay only plays the role of a technical canvas, and the volumes, textures color and form are given exclusively by the action of the glaze that grows, dances and takes over the core of the piece.
